• Provides support to the campus community by executing required moves and set-ups throughout campus for events, office relocations, supply deliveries, and general labor needs. Individual is required to meet tight deadlines and perform work efficiently and effectively to accommodate a diverse user base.

• This position is considered "Essential" and requires the employee to be at work during closures due to weather or other circumstances.
- Execute assigned moves and set-ups/tear downs as required for the campus community
- Move office furniture, supplies, equipment, and other items as directed.
- Follow written or verbal direction to execute and implement required tasks.
- Assist with snow removal, grounds maintenance, and other duties as assigned.
- Coordinate daily tasks with supervisor.
- Remove and relocate broken furniture, e-waste, garbage, recycling and other items as required to designated locations.
- Complete and assist with event set-ups that may require overtime hours.
- Utilize hand trucks, carts, pallet jacks, and other trade tools to execute deliveries.
- Re-arrange offices, classroom and other areas to be better utilized by individuals or groups.
- Required to measure items to fit spaces prior to installation.
- Required to use general hand tools including power drills, socket set, and other trade tools to disassemble furniture and other required items for relocation, disposal, or repair.
- Implement efficient and effective strategies to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Routinely lift, push, pull, or shift up to 100 lbs.
- Required to maintain a high degree f confidentiality.
- Responsible for managing multiple assignments concurrently.
- Follow and execute work orders and input data as required to close out in the Maintimizer system.

- Can act as a lead/supervisor for large scale set up and events (commencement, homecoming, alumni weekend, etc.)
Minimum Experience and Training:No previous experience or training required.
Possession of a valid driver's license is required.

This is a permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week) position. Salary is in accordance with the AFSCME Collective Bargaining Agreement for a
Laborer, $13.97 per hour (pay group 2).
