Summary

This role will be responsible for managing the relationship and marketing strategy for some of the firm's largest and most successful clients. You act as their Outsourced Marketing Manager and Success Coach architecting marketing strategies that produce the leads needed to achieve their sales goals.

Additionally, this role will resolve customer questions and offer marketing and lead generation strategies to drive their company revenue. This position is a senior-level role within the organization reporting directly to the CMO. It manages the marketing for large IT/ERP Consulting firms and is responsible for ensuring client success through superb customer services and by selling marketing and lead generation services that help them succeed.

To be successful in this position you need to be highly motivated, extremely confident, a self-starter with a positive attitude, and possess strong communications and time management skills. 

Essential functions

  • Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
  • Responsible for Enterprise clients annual marketing plan and strategy
  • Prospect and contact potential customers
  • Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
  • Create sales material to present to customers
  • Confer with customers by telephone or in-person to provide information about products or services, take or enter orders, cancel accounts, or obtain details of complaints.
  • Check to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers' problems.
  • Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken.
  • Solicit sales of new or additional services or products.
  • Manage up to Enterprise Level Accounts - Designing, Selling and Managing Marketing & Demand Generation Solutions
  • Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
  • Responsible for an annual marketing plan and strategy
  • Responsible for monthly marketing update
  • Reach agreed upon sales targets
  • Ensure client satisfaction with regard to areas of opportunities or client needs
  • Assess marketing and demand generation needs for technology vendor clients and create and sell solutions to address them.  
  • Prospecting for potential clients  
  • Develop and execute innovative sales strategies  
  • Build and form new partnerships with potential clients  
  • Leverage CRM reporting tools and dashboards to monitor and present KPIs and metrics  
  • Maintain CRM system with the most current information  
  • Other duties as assigned

Required education and experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, or a similar field
  • A minimum of 5+ years selling and/or account management in marketing, advertising, or software solutions to high-level Enterprise/Vendor clients in the technology industry
  • Experience with Marketing ERP system: Highly Desired - SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 
  • Aptitude to generating excitement in clients to encourage them to invest in their own success
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, specifically HubSpot
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with peers and management to achieve goals 
  • Strong salesmanship qualities
  • Strong writing skills and experience creating sales proposals preferred
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a positive and professional demeanor  
  • Strong negotiation skills Deadline and detail-oriented 
  • Organizational Skills 
  • Excellent verbal communication
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills
  • Intermediate computer skills a must (Microsoft Office 365, web browsing, researching) 
  • Strong sense of personal integrity and a high degree of personal responsibility/accountability

  • Mac user is essential.
