McLeod Software is seeking an EDI Coordinator for our headquarters in Birmingham, AL.

The EDI Coordinator will support customer installations and upgrades of the McLeod LoadMaster EDI Engine product. Tasks will include setting up trading partner profiles, EDI transaction templates, and file transfer communications. The EDI Coordinator will provide test and production support to EDI customers and work with the programmers and project managers as necessary for modifications to the products to meet the client’s needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Working with customers to obtain specifications and requirements for delivery of EDI transaction set.
  • Training customers on LoadMaster EDI Software, and researching and troubleshooting Load Master technical issues.
  • Reviewing and closing projects as they are put into production.
  • Setting up EDI file transfer communications for LoadMaster EDI customers.
  • VAN or FTP direct connect as necessary, and installing EDI software.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of and/or work experience with EDI.
  • Experience with Windows and UNIX to formulate SQL statements and training customers or end users in the use of software.
  • Ability to multi-task and communicate technical information coherently (verbally and written).
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Two or more years of experience providing customer technical (hardware and software) support.

Education:

  • Bachelor degree in Business or Marketing preferred and/or equivalent experience.
