JOB TITLE: Concierge Services

DEPARTMENT: Admissions/Administration

SUPERVISOR: Administrator

JOB SUMMARY: To facilitate the smooth functioning of the Unit by ensuring that residents’ needs are addresses in a timely manner. Performs clerical and receptionist activities, and other related duties in accordance with the policies and philosophy of Medford Multicare Center.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

Must possess, as a minimum, a high school degree

Must have, as a minimum, three (1) year’ experience in a nursing care facility, hotel management, or other related medical facility.

Essential Functions:

Promotes, cooperative and collaborative relationship with families, residents, significant others, healthcare team and co-workers.

Visiting the residents daily

Responding promptly to our business office needs and/or requirement’s

Answer telephone, takes messages, reports requests and alerts appropriate staff to problems or questions.

Directs residents, visitors, physicians to appropriate rooms, activities and other areas.

Check all rooms prior to admission and ensure that the area is clean and ready for the new resident.

Coordinates room assignments with the admitting department and keeps the department appraised of the inter-unit changes and any changes in census resulting from newly assigned, transferred and /or discharges residents.
