MEDIAOCEAN Benefits Manager Salary in the United States

What you will do:

We are looking for a passionate Benefits Manager to drive the day-to-day operations of the North American group benefits and champion corporate wellness initiatives. This role will ensure quality of the benefit plan design, partner with vendors and brokers and provide superior service to our employees.  

Responsibilities:

• Administer benefit plans, including assisting employees on questions and issues, confirming data integrity in benefit systems, and serving as a liaison between the company and vendors
• Participate in the negotiation and coordination of benefit renewals, working directly with senior leadership and brokers
• Manage all communications to employees regarding benefit plans, changes and enhancements
• Ensure compliance of benefit programs with various local, state, and federal regulations including Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) reporting and disclosure requirements and annual filings (such as 5500s, 1095C, PCORI, and NDT Testing)
• Develop and implement effective North American workplace wellness initiatives and accompanying calendar to enhance employee health and wellbeing: drive program utilization and cost management
• Manage all leave of absences, including FMLA, disability claims, and new parent leave 
• Process benefits related reports, invoices, and reimbursements monthly

• 2-5 years of benefits administration experience, preferably including benefit plan design
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills
• Ability to initiate and drive solutions, independently or within a team environment
• Proficient in MS Office, with strong Excel skills
• Proven ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field a plus
