What’s in it for you?

How do you know if you’re the right fit? 

The successful candidate will:

• Drive method development, qualification and validation for Mersana’s ADCs and key intermediates such as linker-payloads, antibodies and other biologics
• Have broad understanding of CMC, including phase-appropriate development amongst the different functions
• Be experienced in managing CRO’s to deliver on Analytical goals under tight and often shifting timelines

 
The other stuff

This is typically a role best suited for Ph.D. degreed candidates in analytical chemistry, chemistry, biochemistry, or a related discipline with a minimum of 10 years of experience, at least 7 of which is in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry or at a CRO.  M.S. degree candidates with 10+ years of experience will be considered. 

 Additionally, you’ll have:

• Experience with methods and typical specifications for small molecule, polymer, protein, antibody and ADC analysis
• Knowledge of analytical requirements for intermediates, drug substance and drug product
• Direct experience with technology transfer within a company, to/from CMOs, and between international facilities
• Knowledge of ICH and FDA guidelines, and experience authoring and reviewing regulatory submissions
• Experience with biological assays such as binding ELISA and cell-based potency is desirable
• Knowledge of process development early/clinical/commercial or formulation development for recombinant protein therapeutics, antibodies, antibody fragments, antibody drug conjugates (ADC) is desired
• Outstanding communication and organizational skills required. Works effectively and collaboratively in teams, is energetic, highly self-motivated and able to work efficiently, independently and productively in a growing company environment.
• A solid track record of publications, presentations, and achievements.
