In this role, you’ll have an opportunity to be the central communication point for all areas of clinical development for patient enrollment.  Basically, you’ll be the face of Mersana and first connection with research sites and Mersana colleagues as you provide real-time responses and manage information transactions.  If you are not already a patient enrollment expert, you’ll have the opportunity to bring your professional, polished and friendly demeanor, excellent follow-through and ability to handle time-sensitive matters in addition to your clinical operations expertise as we each make an impact and together make a difference …..because patients are waiting.

How do you know if you’re the right fit?

Your experience will make a huge impact on our solid tumor oncology studies as you document incoming questions/outgoing answers about potential and screened patients as you start with our ongoing clinical trial in PROC and NSCLC. This role is highly time dependent.  Initial responsibilities will include:

  • Tracking potential patients presented for study enrollment
  • Responding to sites’ general protocol questions
  • Tracking, organizing and presenting screened data packages to Medical Directors for review and approval and following-up with sites on questions
  • Maintaining FAQ telecommunication and screen data tracking logs
  • Updating internal dashboard metrics regarding pre-screen, screening and dosed patients
  • Conveying decisions about patient enrollment to sites and CRO
  • Handing-off data for patients approved to dose to CRO
  • Additional non-time related work that will help to round out your career development and meet the goals and objectives of Mersana clinical development

The other stuff

This is typically a role best suited for a BSN, BS or BA in a related discipline with at least 3 years’ experience working in the biopharma industry on solid tumor oncology studies.  Prior experience as CRA is an advantage.  Additionally, best fit candidates will demonstrate:

  • Working familiarity with oncology treatment paradigms and the language used to converse about medical standards
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Superior oral and written communications

Position is eligible for bonus, option awards and benefits including medical, dental and life insurance, 401(k) participation, vacation and paid holidays.

 Successful candidate must be authorized to work in the United States.
