What does an Data Technician - Traffic Operations do at companies like METRIC ENGINEERING?
Metric is looking to hire a Data Technician for an immediate need we have in our traffic operations group.
Day-to-Day:
- Traffic Analysis / Data Collection for traffic studies
- 90% Field work and 10% office work (CADD)
- Counting vehicles at intersections (manually or via video)
- Placing rubber tubes in road to count traffic
- Deploying cameras at intersections
- Must have basic computer skills
- CADD experience and/or data collection experience is a plus
- Must have reliable transportation, clean driving history and be willing to travel throughout the surrounding Orlando area
- Ability to work within timeframes and deadlines, and follow strict procedure and safety guidelines
- Team oriented with strong capability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Drug Test is required
- Valid Driver License is required
- Available to start immediately and to work 40 hours a week anywhere between 8 to 10 hour days
- Must have open availability Monday thru Friday and flexibility with scheduling
