MICRODESK EAM Business Analyst Salary in the United States

As the EAM Business Analyst, you will report to the EAM Assistant Director for Data and Analytics.  As the Maximo Business Analyst, the main tasks will include working directly with clients to perform detailed requirements analysis, conduct requirements gathering workshops, document processes, and perform user acceptance testing.  To succeed in this role, you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.

Travel may be required for this position depending on the nature of the projects, duration, and project commitments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

Experienced professional must have a proven track record of success with the Maximo Asset Management.  This person must have a minimum of 5 years of hands on, technical experience with Maximo including designing, developing, and implementing high quality modifications, interfaces, conversions, and business process changes for Maximo systems.

• Evaluate as-is business processes to develop solutions that aligns with industry best practices
• Perform gap analysis
• Lead business requirement gathering workshops with the client.
• Document business requirements
• Understand and communicate connections between business processes and business data
• Communicate and collaborate with other team members during a Maximo implementation project
• Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and utilize information in project documentation.
• Perform user acceptance testing
• Assist in project plan development and participate in monitoring project performance
• Update, implement, and maintain standard procedures.
• Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
• Serve as a liaison between client stakeholders and the implementation team
• Stay up-to-date on the latest processes and Enterprise Asset Management advancements

Must have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a high degree of credibility and integrity.  Experienced in prior projects including the Maximo System, infrastructure upgrade, and conversant with current technologies.

This position will be remote (up to 50% travel, but likely less than that) required to work on implementations as the client's office.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in business, business information systems, or related field
• 6-8 years’ experience in business analysis or a related field.
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
• Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Competency in Analysis tools such as Power BI
• Understanding of How Asset Management Applications, such as IBM Maximo, function and the roles of Facility Maintenance and Operations Staff
• Maximo certifications are desired
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
• Experience leading and developing top performing teams
• A history of leading and supporting successful projects
