PURPOSE:  The Microf Sales Model is centered around key territories, which is led by the Territory Manager (TM). The TM is responsible for driving new sales by establishing relationships with new HVAC Contractors.  The success of the TM is based on three core principles. 

 

  • Sell new Enterprise Contractor accounts in your market  
  • Leverage Market Influencers – such as Distributors and Strategic Partners.  TM will work the territory managers of the Distributors in the assigned territory
  • Align with the other internal selling organizations (Account Management, SMB Sales, etc.) to support as necessary 

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

  • Sell new Contractors on the Microf Full Value Proposition
    • Consistently achieve Monthly and Annual Sales Goals
    • Sell new Enterprise accounts
    • Conduct strategic field and phone visits with HVAC contractors
    • Present and Demo to prospects on the features and benefits of all Microf financing solutions
    • Plan, maintain, and manage calendar two weeks in advance or further
    • Document progress in SFDC
  • On-Board New Contractors
    • Successfully On-board new contractors onto the Microf Platform 
    • Encourage HVAC contractors to participate in any advertising, sales and marketing programs, and other promotional programs that Microf offers
  • Leverage Market Influencers – such as Distributors and Strategic Partners.  Territory Managers are the key to our “on the ground” support as they are the bridge to the Contractors. 
  • Build a Pipeline of Contractors in a specified region/territory 
      • Target quality contractors that will drive both Loan and Rental volume in a consistent manner by leveraging leads in Saleforce.com
      • Document all activities in our SFDC
      • Achieve the necessary activity metrics as defined by management
      • Continuously leverage the value chain of the manufacturer, distributor, TM, and contractor to achieve enrollment targets
      • Leverage Microf marketing resources to effectively penetrate the HVAC contractor marketplace
      • Build and manage a sales pipeline and sales forecast 
    • Document progress in SFDC
  • Continuing Education 
    • Maintain a clear understanding of the OEM, distributor, and HVAC contractor business models and how each becomes more profitable with the use of Microf products
    • Understand the competitive landscape and know how to best present Microf 
    • Leverage the learning tools at Microf such as Axonify 
  • Provide feedback on the HVAC finance marketplace, regularly advocating for Microf product improvements based on what is competitive
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Five (5) years of business development or outside sales experience and a history of exceeding a plan
  • HVAC industry experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Excellent understanding of CRM (Salesforce.com) 
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional approach to sales 
  • Proven time management and organization skills
  • Ability to make quick decisions based on limited information; and
  • Good computer skills

 

COMMISSION PLAN                          

 

  • Uncapped earning potential for a driven sales professional.

 

EMPLOYEE BENEFITS

    • Eligible for participation in the Company’s Group Medical Plan and Group Supplemental Insurance Plan on the 1st day of the month following the completion of the Employee’s first 60 days of service.
    • Six (6) paid holidays per year.
    • Five (5) paid sick days per year and Fifteen (15) days paid time off annually after 90 days – prorated base on the date hired. 
    • Eligible for 401(k) after one year of service. 

 

 

 

 

OTHER INFORMATION

 

  • Travel Requirement 50%– Extensive travel within the defined territory to meet with HVAC Contractors and distributors.  This may require some overnight stay; travel to industry-related conferences and training requiring some extended stay
