JOB SUMMARY

As the Content Marketing Specialist, you will strategize, create, and publish content in line with the overall marketing strategy within Moneycorp Americas.

The role will involve strategizing, creating, and publishing high-quality content that helps establish moneycorp as a thought leader and drive traffic to the website generate leads and engagement. You will also ensure current content such as print and web content are continuously optimized and performing against objectives.

The successful candidate must have an excellent knowledge of copywriting and SEO concepts, while also being creative and leading new campaigns to fruition.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Content Writing

  • Organize and manage the marketing content calendar.
  • Identify high-volume keywords and suggest improvements for the website.
  • Create written content such as blogs, newsletters, and white papers for web and print consumption.
  • Work with graphic designers and other creative teams to produce brochures, podcasts, videos, and other multimedia.
  • Continuously brainstorm new topics and ideas that will resonate with the ideal audience.
  • Work closely with Sales, Business Development, and digital agencies to identify opportunities that support new client acquisition and retention.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Run daily/weekly/monthly reports, taking proactive action to ensure optimum return on existing content.
  • Create and present competitor analyses within relevant markets.
  • Research trends and new opportunities within the micro and macro environment.
  • Provide valuable insight into current performance and trends to assess effectiveness, ROI & profitability.
  • Use available data sources to deep dive and troubleshoot campaign (and overall) performance issues and propose methodical optimization tests for campaigns.
  • Evaluate new technology for ongoing development and progression.
  • Responsible for seeking out new opportunities and ways to improve campaign performance.

Project Management

  • Coordinate and organize all written and multimedia content.  
  • Liaise with all external support agencies and ensure timely delivery of content.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Experience with web CMS, SEO, short and long-form written content, and multimedia content.
  • Understand the marketing conversion funnel.
  • Experience with creative agencies.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to articulate complex findings in simple and easy updates.
  • Ability to create tactical plans based on set marketing strategies - and to provide examples of internal and external insights.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent creative thinking capabilities to resolve complex issues.

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, or any other design software is preferred, not required.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.

Education:

  • B.A. in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or other related fields.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing-related fields.
