Summary: Responsible for a variety of clerical duties that support mortgage activities, the Branch, and it’s Loan Officer’s.
   

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Satisfactorily completes all required compliance training and is responsible for compliance with legal, regulatory and company policies and procedures.
  • Provide clerical support and customer service to Branch Loan Officers to help facilitate correct submission and closing of loan packages
  • Maintain client relations, and help to achieve company production goals
  • Answer general mortgage loan questions and inquiries
  • May need to communicate with Corporate operations staff to order loan documents and facilitate the funding of loans.
  • Must be in compliance with the SAFE Act

Skills/Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of mortgage terminology
  • Strong customer service skills, to include phone and email etiquette
  • Sales background highly recommended

Education/Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years mortgage industry experience
  • Previous experience as a Loan Officer or Loan Processor a PLUS, but not required

Computer Skills

  • Microsoft Office
  • LendingQB
  • Internet software
