Hourly Wage for MUNICODE Business Systems Analyst 1 - Web Salary in the United States

Municode’s website and meetings divisions are looking for a business systems analyst with great communication and analytical skills to participate in all phases of our projects.  In addition to configuring our solutions, you will participate in ongoing customer support and account management activities.  Join our growing team as we build best-in-class online solutions for cities, counties, and other government agencies.

What you will do:

1. Build and configure solutions.  You will participate in all aspects of the project lifecycle including, site analysis, site configuration, content migration, training, and launch.  Internally, you will communicate and coordinate with Municode’s project leads and systems engineers.  Externally, you will communicate with key customer points of contact.
2. Become a Configuration Expert.  You will become an expert at configuring our Drupal-based Municode Web and/or our Microsoft-based Municode Meetings solution for each customer. 
3. Provide solutions to customer problems.  As new and existing customers report issues or request new features, you will be a key member of the professional services team implementing solutions.

3. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).  You are comfortable communicating with customers in-person, on-the-phone, via web teleconference, and via email.
4. Excellent Analytical Skills.  You can analyze requirements, manipulate data, and develop creative solutions.  You are comfortable working with excel spreadsheets.  While a science, math, business, or engineering degree is not absolutely required, it would certainly be a bonus.  Knowledge of HTML, CSS or JQuery is also a bonus. 
5. Experience.  This is an entry-level position for a person with 0 to 3 years’ experience.
