MUSEUM OF THE BIBLE Hospitality Operations Coordinator Salary in the United States

Position Summary

Provide exceptional customer service and serve as an extremely welcoming and helpful resource to Museum Hospitality Guests, Visitors, Donors and VIPs.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensures the front desk for the Hospitality Suites is covered during all business hours
• Welcomes guests by greeting them, in person or by phone; answers or refers all inquiries
• Orders lodging supplies and monitors inventory to ensure adequate stock of commonly used items
• Keeps lodging reservations up-to-date
• Sends daily administrative reports to Hospitality Operations Supervisor
• Maintains a secure environment by following proper procedures for incoming/outgoing guests; monitors security cameras throughout the day
• Concierge for Scholars Initiative, broadcasting studio and other groups meeting in nearby spaces
• Oversees and finalizes the turning/cleaning of the suites and equipment under the direction of the Hospitality Operations Supervisor
• Offers administrative support to Hospitality Operations Supervisor
• Submits work orders to Facilities and IT 

Education and Qualifications Requirements

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Qualifications:

• Two to three years of previous experience (experience in a hospitality environment preferred) Ability to operate in an extremely polished, courteous and professional manner
• Be thorough, detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task
• Be self-driven and have ability to work in a team with little supervision
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds periodically during work shift
