The big task

Do you love guiding and supporting people? Are you passionate about developing procedures, building systems and problem solving? We are a fast-growing company, looking for an experienced HR professional to help us elevate our internal HR team, processes and systems to the next level.

Key sub tasks

  • Consult and assist leadership on talent related initiatives inclusive of recruiting, performance management, employee development, recognition, and development of compensation/bonus plans providing HR best practices.
  • Administer benefits programs such as: health, dental, life/disability, 401(k), PTO, leave and other company benefits offered. Negotiate plan renewals annually; manage staff enrollment through HRIS system.
  • Establish processes and provide ongoing maintenance of newly implemented HRIS system (Paylocity). Educate leaders and employees on functionalities to increase knowledge and usage of system. 
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate employee and benefit plan records and data

  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
  • Plan and conduct new employee orientation and respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Administer employee surveys, organize company celebrations/meetings, develop and manage recognition programs intended to build a positive work culture
  • Create and maintain scorecard with key HR metrics to be reported to leadership. 

Skills and experience

  • 3-5+ years of professional HR experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Superior communication and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Ability to coach and influence leaders
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Proven analytical & problem-solving skills.
