POSITION OBJECTIVE: Under general supervision of the Executive Casino Host, builds loyalty and increases revenue by developing and effectively maintaining relationships with targeted guests through personal contact on the Casino Floor, by telephone, and written communication.

Requirements
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for providing exceptional, prompt, and gracious Guest service at all times. Exceeds expectations and ensures repeat visitation under varied work conditions. Recognize, warmly welcome, and provide viable solutions to frequent guests. Build long-term relationships while expanding their number and frequency over time. Remain knowledgeable of all guest development promotions and current marketing giveaways with the ability to explain these programs to guests in detail at any time. Recruit new members, noting the benefits and privileges of using the Club Red rewards card. Deliver marketing and public address announcements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required skills and knowledge:
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- Two (2) years of related casino experience
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database experience required.
- Experience planning, organizing, and managing events.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, non-verbal and active listening).
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to groups, or over a public address system, in a manner that adds to an exciting entertainment atmosphere.
- Provide a Driving Abstract
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and Driver’s abstract and must not contain any disqualifying events per the NRWC Safe Driver Policy.
- Must be able to drive guests to offsite events in the NRWC company car.
- Excellent organizational and management skills.
- Excellent guest service skills.
- Self-motivator with a history of both reaching and exceeding set goals.
- Basic computer skills needed.
- Possess excellent decision-making skills.
Preferred skills and knowledge:
- 1 year related Casino Host experience at a 4 or 5 diamond property.
- 1 year experience utilizing Casino Player Tracking System.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand or walk for 8 to 10 hours.
- Manual and finger dexterity for operation of personal computer and routine paperwork.
- Ability to tolerate a smoke-filled, noisy environment for extended periods of time
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Quality delivery of friendly guest service on a consistent basis in a timely manner.
- Interact on a frequent basis with high-limit slot and table game players to build and retain VIP Player loyalty.
- Leverage property amenities/programs to targeted players as a tool for increasing loyalty and preventing defecting guests.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships and regular communication with targeted guests via telephone, email, direct mail or in person.
- Provides full cycle event planning for all level of players and guest, includes coordinating, inviting, hosting, costing and follow-up reporting.
- Maintains file system for correspondence, records, and other related information.
- Maintains a positive, upbeat work style for interaction with all guests and fellow Team Members.
- Promotes the Players Club, entertainment, games and eating establishments of the Casino.
- Possesses a general knowledge of all games throughout the Casino.
- Works as a player/guest ambassador by fulfilling every need possible for the guest.
- Creates relationship and connections with the guest by answering general questions etc.
- Services as announcer or Emcee during player events.
- Completes all paperwork requirements and departmental logs in an accurate and timely manner.
- Monitors necessary inventory levels and facilitates supply and collateral orders.
- Continuously updates information on current winners, jackpots and giveaways.
- Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, department and company policies and procedures.
- Attends all required meetings and training.
- Utilize Casino tools to increase rated play of all assigned guests.
- Constantly monitor host tolls to meet & greet VIP guests as they arrive to the property.
- Identify and cultivate higher middle tier players.
- Grow lower frequent, higher value guests to increase trips and overall revenue.
- Represent Casino at both on-site and off-site events, while providing top of the line full-service host duties.
- Understand Casino policies and procedures related to promotions and current giveaways.
- Demonstrates positive guest and Team Member relations.
- Prepare and deliver reports as needed.
- Provide regular reviews and updates to management on Player Development activities.
- Assist with Casino promotions and events, and other Marketing functions, as needed.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of guest information and play habits.
- Assist in resolving of guest complaints.
- Assist with promotional opportunities and memorable Guest participation events.
- Recruit new members and explains all benefits and privileges of using the Club Red rewards card.
- Deliver marketing and promotional public address system announcements, as needed.
- Report to management regarding service improvement observations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
