Role:

As the The Communications Manager you will be responsible for managing all internal and external communications for the company ensuring its messages are consistent. This strategic position will also lead the planning, development, and implementation of PR and communications strategies to drive a leadership position in the Smart Manufacturing Space. 

Responsibilities:

Proactive PR & Media Relations 

• Develop press releases, pitches, Q&As and messaging to support the launch of new solutions, partnerships and/or customer announcements.
• Create buzzworthy pitches and thought leadership content that is aligned with the company’s vision. 
• Identify and manage award and speaking engagement submissions for industry associations, events and more. 
• Build and manage relationships with key media and industry analysts (Financial Times, Forbes, Forrester, etc). 

Content Marketing

• Manage monthly editorial calendar for blog contributions, major thought-leadership pieces and other communications initiatives. 
• Develop compelling content including case studies, white papers, by-line articles for industry trades, factsheets, and more. 
• Create talking points and presentations to support various events, campaigns and meetings. 

Requirements: 

• Creative strategist with the ability to come up with concise and compelling marketing messages. 
• Critical thinker that is analytical, results oriented, highly communicative and dives into the details. 
• Strong industry/trade press relationships with proven record of story placement is a plus
• 3-5 years communications or marketing experience in the SaaS space
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, and/or Communications
• Flexible personality that thrives in a high-growth, fast-paced, startup environment and can easily adapt to changing requirements while balancing both strategic and tactical objectives
