Adult Protective Service Specialist
Annual Salary:
Travel is EXTENSIVE - Must possess a valid driver's license and must maintain required car insurance.
This position plays an integral part in keeping vulnerable Oklahoma adults safe. In this position, you will receive and investigate allegations of abuse, neglect, and exploitation. You will determine the capacity and provide voluntary or involuntary services based on needs, and you'll coordinate service plans, prepare legal forms, attend court hearings, and provide testimony as necessary.
Hires will be eligible for the complete state benefits package which includes paid time off, retirement contribution plans with employer matching, and health care allowances.
Minimum Qualifications
Adult Protective Service Specialist, Level I - A bachelor's degree in any field is required for this level
Adult Protective Service Specialist, Level II - Applicant may either have a Master's degree in a behavioral science; or a bachelor's degree in a behavioral science and one year of experience in professional social work; or a bachelor's degree in any field and two years of professional social work.
The complexity of the duties assigned will in part depend on the level of experience. The salary depends on the level of qualification of the applicant.
