ONESOURCE DISTRIBUTORS Accounting Specialist-Special Projects Salary in the United States

Position Summary:

Responsible for a variety of activities in assisting the VP of Finance to include; leading the project to move AP services form branch level to Sonepar USA.  Support the VP of Finance with establishing best practices and education to all OSD employees for shared services conversion. Support Accounting Team with month end reporting and projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Include the following; other duties may be assigned)

• Learn current AP Process including;
  • Reconciling vendor invoices to purchase orders and entering invoices for payment for assigned vendors
  • Process paper or EDI inventory or expense invoices
  • Research and correct pricing discrepancies
  • Set up new vendors and update existing vendor’s information
  • Process vendor chargeback’s and credit memos
  • Assist to vendor’s inquiries
  • Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.

• Assist in establishing best practices for future AP support internally at branches and with shared services

• Act as liaison between OSD and SUSA for shared services transition.

• Assists corporate financial officers and branch personnel as necessary.

• Other duties and/or projects as assigned

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience: 

• Associates Degree; or
• 6 years' of related experience and/or training; or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
