Description

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for preparing dashboards, budgets, forecasts, month-end reporting and analysis, operational and management reporting, trend analysis, and ad hoc analysis to support management decision-making for new initiatives.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Produce actuals vs. forecasts analysis.
• Investigate material variances.
• Create ad-hoc reporting.
• Support the FP&A team on business reporting and improvement initiatives.
• Work the planning process and create analyses of forecasted amounts in relation to actual results and previous forecasts. 
• Work with major assumptions and their effects on the budget/forecast. 
• Perform sensitivity analyses to assess reasonable range of outcomes.
• Prepare cash forecasts with an integrated set of financial data and assumptions. 
• Analyze future outcomes and assumptions against past results and budget.
• Present analyses on forecasts and trends to FP&A Director. 
• Develop analysis for forecasts includes identifying, understanding and communicating changes in forecasts. 
• Identify trends and produce data analysis.
• Identify cost savings opportunities for the Company. 
• Perform financial analysis leveraging tools to access data and present meaningful, concise information.
• Perform financial statement analyses and document meaningful explanations for fluctuations.
• Identify data deficiencies and work with IT and GL teams to solve those deficiencies. 
• Create and review monthly financial/operations decks.
• Other duties specified by supervisor.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field is required. MBA or master’s degree, preferred.
• Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis.
• Experience or General Ledger Accounting.
• Understanding of financial analysis and reporting, key business metrics, forecasting, and annual budgeting.
• The ideal candidate for this position will have a financial and accounting background and have a good understanding of overall business operations.
• Experience with Financial Planning & Analysis, highly desired.
• Experience with supporting the business with the information they need to make strategic, operational and tactical decisions.
• Experience in service, sales and/or industrial environments, is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, technology driven, service environment.
• Experience working in a geographically distributed, multi-site organization.
• Must be results-oriented and demonstrate the ability to work independently and in a team environment as well as to lead and/or participate in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent verbal, analytical, organizational, writing and presentation skills.
• Excellent project management skills including successful leadership of projects from planning phase through completion.
• Must maintain the highest standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
• The selected candidate will be required to pass a criminal history background check.
