OPENSESAME 2020 Step Into Tech Internship Program Salary in the United States

Through our Step Into Tech Internship program, OpenSesame provides high school students with the opportunity to increase their exposure to technology and grow their skills in all areas of tech including teamwork and innovation.

Program details

The Step Into Tech with OpenSesame internship program is an ongoing, year-round, paid internship program available to high school students in the greater Portland, OR area.  This year our program will be fully remote.

At OpenSesame, you will have a chance to grow your professional network while gaining a sense of what it’s like to have a career in technology.  You will gain a wide array of technical and business skills.  In addition to growing your skills, you will have the opportunity to experience first hand what it is like working in a fast-paced, growing tech company. This is a paid internship and the minimum commitment to the program 5 hours a week.  You may also be eligible for high school course credit.

Your primary responsibilities will depend on the team you are assigned to.  After you apply, if we move forward with your application,  you will be sent an interest quiz to determine what areas of the business you want to learn more about. To apply, please fill out the information below and attach a one sheet cover letter that tells us about yourself and why you are interested in interning at OpenSesame- be sure to include what you are passionate about! Please also include how many hours a week will you be available to dedicate to this internship. We will provide you with equipment if needed. 

Who we’re looking for:

• Current Junior or Senior in high school 
• A great attitude and a willingness to learn
• Demonstrated reliability and strong interest in technology
• The ability to work 5-10 hours per week, during or after school remotely from home.
• Finally, the most important thing to us is that you have a passion for learning and have a willingness to grow your technical skills!
