The ORANGE BOWL COMMITTEE Inc., (OBC), based in Miami Lakes, was created in 1935 with the mission of generating tourism for South Florida through an annual football game and supporting events. The OBC is accepting applications for its  Account Executive, Member & Client Services  position.


SUMMARY: This position has as integral role in the ticket, group and event sales for the Capital One Orange Bowl, Orange Bowl Basketball Classic and other OBC events.  The Member & Client Service Executive will be focused on attaining revenue goals through retention and renewals of OBC Members and patrons, manage and serve as the lead liaison for Orange Bowl Committee Member relationships, while also supporting the outbound sales team by identifying group and premium opportunities.  


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsibilities:
  • Meet ticket renewal and upgrade goals through ticket member satisfaction and communication
  • Build strong relationships with existing annual ticket account holders, Orange Bowl Committee members, board members and organizational staff
  • Manage ticket partner accounts, answer questions and resolve disputes in a professional manner
  • Manage ticket activity information in ticket sales and CRM systems (Archtics and Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Effectively communicate (via phone, email and in-person) Bowl events and offers to all ticket partners and Members
  • Assist in development of ticket partner initiatives, promotions, loyalty programs and communications
  • Provide lead generation research and support to the department for future individual, group and premium sales initiatives
  • Game day duties 
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required in related field (Business, Marketing, Communication, or Sports Management) and related work experience.
  • A minimum of two years’ work experience in professional sports ticket sales/service.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Excellent customer service and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain a professional image and positive attitude at all times.
  • Ability to handle heavy outbound phone volume.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Word and Outlook. 
  • Ability to learn and master new software programs including Ticketmaster and CRM.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
