PALLET SERVICE CORPORATION 1st Shift Pallet Assembly - 16/hr Salary in the United States

Position Summary/Objective

Pallet Assembler is responsible for assembling the finished product according to the customer specifications.  

1st Shift:  7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday (possible OT on Saturday)

$16/hr + piece rate bonus

Job Duties Responsibilities:

• Operate pneumatic nail gun to assemble/repair pallets 
• Completes work area set up and verify components match the print specifications
• Fits parts together in accordance with the prescribed manner and in accordance with quality standards
• Stacks completed products in accordance with established procedures, and if required, may cover, label and band components/finish product
• Ensures work area is safe and that equipment is safe to operate
• Completes pre-shift/startup equipment inspection checklist and reports any problems or concerns
• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment
• Completes daily production paperwork when required
• Checks materials and finished products to ensure compliance with standards
• Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards
• The position will require bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, lifting/carrying over 40 lbs, pushing/pulling, twisting, standing and walking.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• 18 years or older
• Minimum 6 months of experience in component assembly or construction is required; 1 year of experience or more is preferred
• Working knowledge of basic math and ability to read tape measure and blueprint
