Patriot LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Information Technology (IT) services and Cybersecurity provider, is currently seeking an experienced Business Development/ Proposal Manager/Writer professional to help grow our Civilian, Defense and Intelligence Community business. This role is integral to our small business development process from identification to award and participating in all phases of the capture and proposal processes.

Actively develop new business strategies and targets that align with corporate goals and objectives. Participate in the formulation of the business development goals and work closely with operations to develop effective capture strategies.

Demonstrated Experience (Required):

  • Proven track record of successful, compliant and timely proposal writing and management within the Civilian, Defense and Intelligence Community
  • Handles the entire life-cycle process of proposal writing identifying, qualifying, capturing, and winning small business opportunities in the Civilian, Defense and Intelligence Community market > $10M
  • Comfortable leading and writing whole proposals and or sections, ability to identify and utilize resources to complete other portions based on the scope of work and requirements of the proposal efforts
  • Capable of ensuring compliance of submission outlines and instructions
  • Experience working within Small Business capture and procurement.
  • Ability to establish a response plan and schedule for RFIs, RFQs and RFPs
  • Maintaining an up-to-date opportunity pipeline.
  • Successfully interacting with current clients and partners to enhance competitive position for each opportunity under pursuit.
  • Building corporate network, partner engagement and overall exposure.
  • Ability to work under strict deadline pressure and handle multiple work assignments
  • Drive and Manage, business capture for key opportunities that are strategic to the company
  • Acquisition Strategy marketing and manipulation based on company strategy, industry trends, customer desires, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR), and probability of win (PWIN)
  • Capture intelligence and counterintelligence; incumbent organizational structures, salary data, run rates, wrap rates, competitive team composition, and competition strategy
  • Identify and cultivate teaming partnerships and business alliances
  • Support the execution of NDAs, TAs, and SubKs
  • Experience with Multiple Award ID/IQ, task order type contracts

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • B.S degree in a related field (Business Administration, writing, communications, etc.)
  • Experience with responsibility for the full life cycle of the proposal process for a Prime Contractor (5 years)
