The Role:             

This is a rare ground floor opportunity to contribute to the expansion of Personal Capital in Dallas, TX.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Provides advice and counsel to employees, managers, and directors regarding laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and practices related to employee relations matters.
  • Facilitates resolution of employee issues and concerns in conjunction with HR Department Head and the department Managers by providing guidance and consultation regarding problem-solving, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance
  • Strives to resolve internal conflict informally through appropriate conflict management and mediation techniques.
  • Conducts thorough investigations in conjunction with the HR Department Head.
  • Prepares written reports of investigation outcomes as well as organizes all supporting documentation. 
  • Onboards new hires and offboard separating employees.
  • Assists in the implementation and communication of benefit programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Provides guidance to managers on performance management of employees.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in Human Resources.
  • Attention to detail, organized, and able to multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere.
  • A troubleshooter able to solve problems quickly and efficiently. 
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 
  • Demonstrates common sense and sound decision-making abilities.
  • Proven experience developing and executing HR strategy that aligns with business priorities.
  • Able to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Previous manager level leadership experience.
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree. Business or Human Resources preferred. SHRM or PHR a plus
  • Basic knowledge of local laws and best practices.
  • Proficient with technology, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and G Suite.
