PIEDMONT MEDICAL CENTER ED Patient Sitter Full Time Days Salary in the United States

Transports patients within the hospital. Must be familiar with the location of the various departments and with the general regulations of the hospital. Understands the standard techniques to avoid infection of the patient and self or contamination of equipment and supplies. Provides care that is specific to area of specialty. Provides safety for an identified patient by monitoring and caring for the patient. Will assist with family requests. Will interact with nursing personnel.

Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Minimum Experience: No previous healthcare experience is required. Up to six months of healthcare related experience is preferred.

Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: BLS required. CPI required within 3 months of employment.
