Reporting to the Sr. Director of Creative Services, the Post Consumer Brands Agency & Content Development Manager will join our growing in-house creative team to lead and oversee all agency development as well as social, digital and video content production. This Manager will collaborate with our Brand Marketing Team, our Marketing Communications Team, and our agency partners to create consumer first communications that align with business goals and objectives. At the core of this role will be the goal of maintaining a high standard for creativity and quality while driving down total costs.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Through partnership with internal Brand and Communications Teams as your internal customer, understand key business issues and communications goals to overcome these challenges. Assist the teams to outline deliverables needed by agency partners and consult on the creation of scopes and briefs.
  • Develop and negotiate annual agency scopes of work.
  • When need arises for an agency RFP, lead the overall RFP process, driving to an agency decision by the Brand and/or Communications teams.
  • Partner with Brand and Communications teams to ensure agencies deliver on time, on budget, and in accordance with agreed to annual scope.
  • Manage all production aspects for content development across social media, online video, broadcast and internal video projects at Post Consumer Brands; ensure inclusion of agency partners in the process.
  • Tactical management of content production planning from pre-pro through go live engaging internal and external stakeholders throughout the process to meet on-air dates.
  • Cost Control. Ensuring assets are produced within budget while also identifying cost efficiencies without compromising creative or quality.
  • Evaluation of creative production and licensing bids to determine efficiencies and alignment within industry standards.
  • Trafficking final video assets in partnership with asset management agency and media team.
  • Manage talent and music license agreements and renewals.
  • Establishing best practices for managing all digital assets.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5-7 years of content development and video production management experience at an agency, planning shop, commercial multimedia studio or video production company.
  • Track record of close collaboration with creative partners to bring ideas to life.
  • Ability to negotiate budget trade-offs based on brand objectives.
  • Ability to translate strategy into tactical execution.
  • Proven ability to creatively solve problems through negotiation, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Thorough knowledge of entire production lifecycle, including pre-production, audio and video recording, lighting, studio environments, editing, content delivery, and cost control.
  • Stellar written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Excellent meeting facilitation skills.
  • Knowledge of SAG-AFTRA rates and rules.
  • Ability to effectively navigate a matrix style organization partnering with key stakeholders, and keeping them informed throughout the process.

Ability to manage ambiguity, remaining calm under pressure, and having a great sense of humor are also big assets.

Bachelors degree preferred in communications, art, film, broadcast, audio, media production, or related field
