Reliant Medical Group is seeking a Certified Diabetes Educator to join our exciting and innovative team. If you are looking for a career that will transform, inspire, challenge and reward you then come join us!
Department: Endocrinology
Position: Full -time 40 hours per week
Hours: Monday through Friday hours vary between 8:00AM - 6:00PM
No weekends or Holidays
Responsibilities
Working closely with the endocrinology provider, primary care providers and others to provide education and monitoring services to all adult patients with diabetes.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Dietician (RD) with a Bachelor of Science preferred or equivalent experience.
- Certification as a diabetes educator (CDE) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Experience in an endocrinology setting where experience with patients with diabetes was part of the role, is preferred.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of various software applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
