SUMMARY

This position will work with our dental teams to enhance the quality of patient care, maximize patient satisfaction, streamline throughput of the patient care cycle, and oversee daily operations of the center. This will include advocacy for our patients and working to facilitate exceptional communication with our physicians and team members. Operational duties including schedule oversight, regulatory management, data acquisition and analysis, and compliance with renew protocols, timelines and expectations.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Patient Experience:

  • Be the face of the dental practice upon patient and prospective patient arrival
  • Provide consistent and professional interactions with our patients, and model this behavior for our team
  • Identify, track and report all patient service recovery needs, or potential areas of concern to the Director
  • Ensures any clinical approvals, forms and/or documentation are properly completed, including medical clearances, consent forms and all HIPAA acknowledgement procedures.
  • Facilitate Medical Clearance screenings in coordination with the physician
  • Take all prospective patient CT scans upon arrival
  • Validate and confirm appropriate merger with CT and DIO technologies
  • Facilitate patient schedule for all clinical appointments as needed
  • Coordinate Remote Patient scheduling as appropriate

Center Operations:

  • Ensure the office is maintained and running efficiently, providing a quality patient experience and the highest standard of dental care at all times.
  • Document compliance with the daily huddle
  • Monitor and report time and attendance for the clinical employees at the center
  • Monitor and deliver (digitally) prospective patient treatment plans to the Education Consultants from Center Practice Management Systems
  • Ensure start of day and end of day clinical procedures are properly completed
  • Organize, prepare for and participate in various inspections (Stericycle, Fire Dept, OSHA, etc.)
  • Develop effective working relations and cooperate with medical team throughout the entire patient case
  • Record case information accurately, complete al necessary forms and produce statistical reports
  • Promote safe and quality interventions and outcomes
  • Adhere to professional standards as outlined by protocols, rules and regulations

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Knowledge and ability to learn medical/dental scheduling software
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Familiarity with professional and technical emerging knowledge
  • Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task
  • Proficient Teamwork skills
  • Ability to communicate with patients and navigate service recovery needs as appropriate
  • Nursing or related experience preferred

SCHEDULE

  • 16 days per month (10 hour shifts)
  • Monday- Thursday 7am- 5pm (lunch provided)
  • Weekends and holidays off
  • Pre-scheduled vacation time, consistent with Renew department expectations
  • No overtime
