REVEAL Financial Planning Manager Salary in the United States

Position Summary The Financial Planning Manager is a highly visible and impactful role in the organization helping to analyze, monitor, predict, communicate, and drive business results. This individual will be a key player in the creation of budgets, monthly forecasts, and financial reporting.  This includes analysis of critical business drivers, establishment of key performance indicators (KPI), and development of management and performance reporting. This person will support the rest of the executive leadership team in providing leadership and support of projects and initiatives to enhance decision making. The ideal candidate for this position is an aggressive self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and can prioritize, problem solve, and pivot quickly. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Create and build budgeting and forecasting models. Including rolling forecast developed with comparative analysis
• Design and maintain financial reporting to analyze and report the financial and operational performance, key issues and business trends.
• Build and maintain both balance sheet and cash flow forecasts
• Mine historical results for trends to improve the accuracy of forecast models
• Complete complex analysis leading to actionable insights that improve business decision making, performance, and business growth and assist in execution of action plans.
• Deliver dynamic, forward-thinking analysis that leases to actions.
• Monitor and measure progress against targets.
• Provide financial analysis support to senior leadership on key business components and market environment.
• Support the executive team with key customer reporting, pricing & margin analysis.
• Leverage systems by identifying and driving reporting and process improvements and/or automation.
• Lead and assist in the continuous improvement, development, modification and implementation of reporting systems as necessary.
• Proficiency in quickly and accurately modeling/presenting financial data in a manner that communicates valuable information to management.

Special Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong analytical skills and communication skills
• Demonstrated track record of analyzing large amounts of data and ability to summarize it into reasonable and actionable information.
• Ability to work independently with a sense of urgency.
• Proficiency in quickly and accurately modeling/presenting financial data in a manner that communicates valuable information to management.
• Experience in process improvements with quantifiable results to measure effectiveness.
• Experience owning projects and initiatives, independently setting and completing milestones.
• Data analysis and tool experience

Education & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance. MBA preferred
• Experience:  5-8 years progressive financial experience. Experience in a fast-paced technology environment preferred.
