What does an Benefits Coordinator do at companies like SCALABLE PRESS?

Scalable Press, a multi-national corporation, is looking for an eager Benefits Coordinator to assist our HR Team. You will support day to day operations for group benefits programs, such as Group Health, Dental, Vision, Short-term and Long-term Disability, 401K, etc. In addition to working on the company's benefits programs, you may also assist with employee relations, onboarding support, reporting, and other areas within HR. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Responds to employee and management inquiries about policies, procedures, benefits, and compensation.
  • Manage enrollments and determine employee eligibility
  • Coordinate and track FMLA claims and process claims or requests
  • Inform employees of their benefit options and plans
  • Assist with Annual Open Enrollment.
  • Assist with the compliance of the benefit plans, notices and plan documents.
  • Verifies vendor invoices for payment and secures proper approvals
  • Process employee terminations and partner with appropriate vendors for COBRA administration
  • Prepares HR reports as requested

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma with minimum of (2) years clerical/administrative/human resources
  • experience. Bachelor’s degree in Business/Human Resources/similar field preferred and
  • may substitute required experience
  • Previous experience in benefits administration
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word, G-Suite, and Adobe
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic working knowledge of federal/state employment laws preferred
