SOUTHEAST CHRISTIAN CHURCH Children's Ministry Leader Salary in the United States

There is a lot of excitement regarding our announcement to open a campus in Bullitt County!  Due to the great interest we have an immediate opening for a Children's/Family Leader at that campus.  The Children's Ministry Leader wil be responsible for the vision casting, training, equipping and shepherding of all Children's volunteers (and later Children's staff members) serving at the campus. This person will bridge the gap between the church and home by equipping parents to recognize and intentionally engage in "disciple-making moments" with their children. Job Duties will Include:

• Oversight of Ministry from Birth – 5^th Grade to put forth a unified family ministry
• Plan and Program weekend services including writing/tweaking curriculum, scheduling volunteers, ordering supplies, and maintaining set-up and tear-down of portable church containers
• Shepherd, lead, disciple, train and empower a base of volunteers to disciple children
• Collaborative implementation of various family discipleship resources and programs such as Family Dedication, parenting classes, leading a child to Christ, baptism, SE!Kids Camp, etc.
• Build relationships with parents and equip them to disciple their children on a daily basis
• Attend and participate in all appropriate staff and team meetings
• Participate with campus staff in on-going outreach to the community (special events, worship nights, Family connect events etc.)
• Develop and maintain annual budget for Children's Ministry

Required Education, Experience, and Membership:

• Biblically grounded philosophy of Children's Ministry
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in Children's Ministry or related field preferred
• An engaged member of Southeast Christian Church who supports the Statement of Faith and submits to the leadership established by the church
