SPARTAN TECHNOLOGIES Product Lead, MDM Salary in the United States

We are working with a client that is looking to hire a Product Lead Master Data Management (MDM). This is a permanent, FTE role. The client is in San Francisco but this role can be remote with occasional travel.

As the Product Lead, MDM, you will create the process, procedure and guidelines and drive the technical delivery of SAP S4/HANA and Informatica MDM to ensure the Company succeeds with new technology in an omnichannel environment. In this role, you will support the organization initiative to strengthen our Consumer Direct business; you will take all steps to drive the technical delivery of Product Master in collaboration with the functional teams, Product Master Governance and Support team

About the Job:

• Lead the technical delivery of all requirement, Design, development and testing of Product Master projects
• Perform & Lead all required configuration to set up Article Master, Merchandise Hierarchy, Seasons, Assortment and listing in SAP system.
• Single point of contact for management reporting to leadership related to Product master data.
• Lead and Perform FIT -GAP on all SAP Product master design needs and guide team on solutioning.
• Formulate, set up and govern the process needed to address all Product master integration needs from various sources.
• Coordination with all Stakeholder & support function for all SAP Product master Design, development and testing needs.
• Cross functional coordination for all project requirements, create stakeholder visibility and alignment on all project needs.
• Lead all Agile process for Master data projects, coordinate with Project manager, Scrum master & Development team on day to day activities.
• Responsible for Configuration, Cutover and Conversion process for all Product master related work.
• Coordinate with SAP Engineering, architect, testing and Release teams for all project implementation.
• Formulate and activate the intake process for issue / changes related to SAP Product Master
• Guide SAP functional teams on Product master changes proposed to run the business successfully for wholesale and Retail
• Govern and lead 100 % utilization of Agile tools like Jira / Version One and testing tool for all SAP project implementation.
• Identify knowledge gap within team, coordinate and help all training needs.
• Responsible for creation and maintenance of Master data documents like Blueprints, Functional spec, Technical Spec, Configuration , Source to target mapping, testing and steady state instructions.
• Lead the master data team on design & development of master data integration from source to target.
• Lead the delivery of Product master projects and production support in steady state phase.

About You:

• 8+ years of experience in SAP Product Master Data, primarily in SAP Materials Management discipline.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Materials Management, Product Master or related discipline
• In depth knowledge in SAP AFS or SAP Retail is required with complete Product master related business process knowledge.
• Hands on experience in the implementation of SAP Product master for SAP AFS or SAP Retail.
• Strong functional knowledge on Store, Distribution centers, and configuration knowledge on setting up plant in SAP system.
• Working knowledge of cross functions like Procure to Pay, Order to cash, Replenishment, FI and SAP Retail POS Inbound
• Minimum 3 years of experience as lead, leading a materials management implementation team.
• SAP Master data configuration knowledge is required, programming knowledge is an added advantage.
• Experience in Agile / Safe hands-on experience and knowledge is preferred.
• Hands on experience in using testing tools for projects.
• Ability to translate complex ideas and data into digestible insights for master data team
• Strong presentation skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership
• Strong communication and leadership skill to manage a project team.
• SAP S/4 Fashion or SAP MDG implementation experience preferred
• Experience with Collabra or similar metadata management and Data Governance application is a plus
