Position Summary:

The Big Know is looking for an enthusiastic, multi-talented Instructional Scriptwriter to work closely with our Instructional and Design teams (as well as video production partners) to create unique, educational, and entertaining digital learning experiences focused on health and wellbeing topics. The primary responsibilities are the development of video scripts and writing content for interactive learning activities. This role may also be asked to support content needs across The Big Know platform and experiences.

Our ideal candidate is a visual storyteller with a penchant for writing clear, clever, and educational-oriented scripts, even when the topic is complex. In addition to being a strong conceptual thinker, the candidate should have an interest in, and experience with, writing in a wide variety of subject areas. 

In this position, you will:

• Work with The Big Know’s instructional and product design teams to concept, write, produce, and manage instructional video segments from pre to post-production and deliver on all aspects of scope, schedule, and quality.

• Within each course project, create scripts for several unique video segments that support the desired learning outcomes and reflect The Big Know’s learning model.
• Write interactive activities for online courses. 
• Interview subject matter experts and conduct independent research to distill key stories and themes for compelling content. Adapt style and tone as appropriate for different experts and topics.
• Create engaging content that captures the target audience’s attention and influences action.
• Communicate clearly and concisely to a global audience of all ages.
• Support various marketing and public relations initiatives by collaborating and writing content for other teams. 
• Demonstrate high attention to detail and accuracy while juggling multiple assignments in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
