The primary role of the account coordinator is to be the account teams’ go-to person, assisting across all projects: internal and external.

  • Become familiar with tactical elements of a marketing plan and how they are used.
  • Assist account team with brainstorm meetings for concept development.
  • Work with other agency partners to schedule meetings and coordinate meeting notes/identify next steps.
  • Help inform presentations, POVs, budgets and creative briefs.
  • Act as an internal liaison among production, account and creative teams.
  • Assist account team in coordinating and producing both special and ongoing projects for clients.
  • Monitor industry trends relevant to a client’s business or applicable industries.
  • Attend ongoing agency training programs.
  • Contribute to project deliverables and help with timelines and deadlines
  • Build client relationships

Support cross-functional team:

  • Communicate and interact effectively with cross-agency teams for all departments and/or clients to deliver timely client decisions and approvals.
  • Successfully manage agency/client task force and project management from program concept to flawless execution and measurement/performance results.
  • Responsible for all direct conference reports and tracking of changes, approvals and direction from internal, client and customer meetings.
  • Monitor project timeline and work flow
  • Organize and maintain team digital folders and tracking documents


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or communications
  • General knowledge of the industry
  • 1-2 years of advertising, PR or promotional background including relevant internships and course work
  • Experience with social media
  • Experience with (social) community management preferred
  • Solid organizational and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of creative process and the expectations of clients
  • Knowledge of client service relations
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
