The ideal candidate will possess strong leasing ability, great customer service skills, experience with Yardi or other Property Management software, tech savvy, great rapport building skills, organized, and a team player! If this is you, we are interested! 


We are looking for a strong Assistant Property Manager for The Flamingo Apartments in Hyde Park. The Assistant Property Manager provides vital support to the Property Manager of the residential community to which they are assigned. Position has overall responsibility for ensuring the peak performance of the community by maintaining exceptional resident relations, effectively exploring the market to identify opportunities and secure tenants, managing the residential ledgers and delinquency and assisting with leasing efforts. 

Qualifications and Expectations

Preferred Skills 

  • Minimum two years leasing experience in a fast-paced residential rental community
  • A proactive approach, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate using clear, professional language
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal or no supervision
  • Knowledge of effective marketing, sales and closing techniques
  • Experience with Yardi Voyager
  • Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software
  • Availability to work Monday through Saturday on a rotating, five day schedule
  • Availability to work weekends

Other skills 

  • Ability to work closely with the maintenance staff and technicians to schedule repairs and organize routine maintenance checks
  • Ability to learn and comply with industry legal requirements, especially related to federal and local Fair Housing Laws.
  • Performing any other tasks as directed by the Property Manager or Regional Manager
  • Customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to navigate stairs (select communities only), lift up to twenty pounds unassisted, and reach overhead and below
