Description

Come work for a company that is changing the medical software industry and help us grow relationships in the market! The TSI Healthcare Sales team is looking for an Account Development Representative to join us in Chapel Hill, NC. In this role, you will partner with the Field Sales team to uncover new sales opportunities within an assigned territory. You'll identify, nurture, and help close opportunities with new customers, manage forecasts on a monthly and quarterly basis, and track prospective client data. This is a great opportunity if you are interested in the fields of Healthcare or IT, want a path to a sales career, but have limited sales experience. 

The Account Development Specialist Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Research prospect targets and those provided through lists and other medium
  • Conduct outbound calls to prospects in an assigned territory
  • Engage with prospects to ask fact‐finding questions, discover pain points, succinctly convey TSI’s Value and influence prospects to schedule a “Discovery” with the field sales rep
  • Gather sufficient information about the prospect to track data using customer relationship management (CRM) tools
  • Set timely follow‐up tasks and execute on them to keep the sales cycle in motion.
  • Think creatively to engage hard‐to‐reach prospects
  • Effectively enter, record, save, or maintain information in written or electronic format
  • Effectively communicate with supervisors, peers, or subordinates
  • Provide sales support to three to four field sales professionals
  • Meet your assigned sales quota

Qualifications


Knowledge of:

  • Principles and methods to demonstrate, promote and sell products and services. Includes marketing strategy and tactics, sales process, and qualifying
  • Customer and personal service principles and processes that include customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction

Experience

  • Previous outbound telemarketing experience and lead generation preferred
  • Salesforce experience a plus
