What does an Digital Marketing Manager do at companies like WAYPOINT REAL ESTATE INVESTMENTS?

Waypoint Real Estate Investments is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to drive online marketing strategy and execution for our corporate brand and portfolio of multifamily properties.  The role will work collaboratively with our marketing team to develop and implement a multichannel demand generation strategy as part of the team responsible for customer acquisition and revenue growth.

Candidates should have demonstrated success in driving revenue through digital program development, analysis and optimization. Multifamily real estate experience a plus.

What you will do:

  • Work with Corporate and Portfolio Marketing teams to develop, execute and analyze online marketing strategies including integrated campaigns, web sites, email marketing, paid digital advertising, paid social campaigns and search engine optimization
  • Create a robust SEO strategy for our sites, including a roadmap of initiatives to increase organic rankings and drive growth
  • Optimize and maintain our social media presence across all digital channels
  • Provide strategic direction for our blog and social media presence as part of the overall digital strategy.
  • Manage and enhance reputation management programs
  • Collaborate with graphic designers, copywriters and third-party developers to manage company web sites including all images and content
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to analyze trends and insights to improve campaign performance
  • Compile, analyze and distribute metrics and data to track performance against goals including engagement, traffic, interactions, growth, conversions, etc.
  • Manage external vendors, as appropriate
  • Maintain leading edge of digital marketing best practices, staying up to date on trends in digital marketing and evaluate emerging technologies and growth opportunities 

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Computer Science or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience of relevant experience
  • Extensive experience in social media, websites, SEO, SEM and digital data aggregators.
  • Working knowledge with Yardi Voyager Marketing module, RentCafe, Real Page, or other equivalent system and participation in industry groups a plus
  • Digital agency experience preferred
  • Experience in Google Drive, Google+, Google Analytics and Google AdWords is preferred.
  • OMCP certification is preferred.

  • Proficiency with analytics tools and web traffic reporting, and ability to do deep data analysis and drive recommendations to senior leadership
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, flexibility and ability to produce results in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for learning and growing SEO and digital marketing skills
  • Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify and resolve problems
  • Strong attention to detail, an outgoing, team-first personality, and the ability to think on your feet
  • Ability to turn complex data and insights into easily understood data stories
  • Understanding of property management industry trends, issues and emerging technology. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a digital marketing role
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing digital campaigns
  • Working knowledge of web design principles, best practices, and content management platforms
  • Experience setting up and optimizing Google Ads campaigns & Facebook Ad campaigns
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and prospect funnels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking; familiarity with analytical tools such as Google Analytics
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Computer proficiency: proficient in MS Office suite [Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint].
  • Some experience with Adobe suite software; HTML, and content management systems
