We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our team in our Fort Lauderdale office. The Business Development Rep. is responsible for prospecting sales and qualifying leads for new and existing accounts.

In this role, you will act as a liaison between our marketing and sales teams. Ideally, you will be naturally curious, results-driven, and eager to bring our product/services to new markets.

Responsibilities: 

  • Contact and qualify leads - Prospect new sales leads by making an initial phone or email contact. Engage the account and prepare them for the Account Executive. Connect with as many leads as possible to encourage the purchase of the product offered. Be the point person for your sales lead qualification process.
  • Build a relationship with accounts you bring in – While our account managers will do the heavy lifting. You are encouraged to stay in close contact with leads and create brand awareness, educational opportunities, and request referrals. Coordinate in-person meetings and calls between the new clients and Account Managers. At the end of the day, we are one family.

On a regular basis you will be: 

  • Generating appointments through a combination of cold calls, networking, and referrals 
  • Achieving a sales quota to drive your success 
  • Meeting with prospects to present solutions, negotiate contracts and be a closer 
  • Fostering relationships with your current clients and generating referrals through the current book of business 
  • Effectively communicating solutions through onsite or online presentations that showcase the services and capabilities of our company 
  • Working within a team to develop proposals, quotes, and respond in a timely manner to RFP/RFI documents. 
  • Building strategic partnerships to feed your growing pipeline and earnings 

Requirements:  

  • 1+ years of outside, B2B, sales experience
  • Impressive track record of closing sales, winning clients, and managing a book of business
  • Demonstrated level of success in the development of client relationships
  • Enjoy working with customers and external audiences
  • High energy and drive with good negotiation skills
  • Proficient with general office applications
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills
  • Skilled in preparing written communications and materials
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment
  • Reliable transportation
