Job description The Driver Trainer position is responsible for the training and development of CDL and non-CDL licensed drivers on operations of all CMV's (Commercial Motor Vehicle). The trainer will have the ability to instill a safe driving culture through inside and outside classroom experiences. Minimum Qualifications and Skills: High School diploma or GED Class A or B Commercial Driver License with Medical Card Previous experience in the recycling and waste industry preferred. Experience in facilitating and developing CDL training programs. ability to conduct Pre- and Post-Trip procedures for various commercial vehicles. Excellent verbal and written communications skills to be able to communicate effectively and professionally within and outside the company. A working knowledge of the Department of Transportation (DOT) and OSHA rules and regulations. Ability to demonstrate Lock-out/Tag-out procedures.
