The Club Golf Pro ensures golf facilities are properly maintained. Responsible for the overall day-to-day operations and services of the golf course, including the golf shop, tournaments, practice facilities, and cart fleet. Being a Club Golf Pro typically requires a bachelor's degree. Coordinates marketing programs to promote the facility's services to potential customers and oversees member events and daily play. In addition, Club Golf Pro requires an active Professional Golfers' Association (PGA) membership. Typically reports to a golf course general manager. May coordinate or assist with investigations and critical event responses in coordination with law enforcement and other officials. Understands law enforcement methods, tactics, and procedures.
