Being a Instrumentation/Calibration Technician III understands industry and quality concepts and standards such as ISO, GMP, NIST. Utilizes calibration software and diagnostic tools to identify faults or non-conformance and to track results. In addition, Instrumentation/Calibration Technician III requires a high school diploma or graduation from a technical or trade school. May require Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) or Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL). Typically reports to a supervisor. Being a Instrumentation/Calibration Technician III independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors. Has gained full proficiency in a broad range of activities related to the job. Working as a Instrumentation/Calibration Technician III typically requires 5-7 years of related experience.
