Being an Internal Auditor V may coordinate with or prepare reports for external auditors or regulatory bodies. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Additionally, Internal Auditor V may require a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Internal Auditor V works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. To be an Internal Auditor V typically requires 10+ years of related experience.
Bank Internal Auditor assists with internal operational, financial, and compliance audits. Conducts branch internal audits to determine whether business controls are sufficient and effectively executed in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
