Work on BIG Chapter 11 cases, Chapter 15 and appeals too. Draft notices, fee applications, filing checklists; monitor case dockets and track deadlines; stay current on rules; research precedents, disclosure statements, etc., eFile, and more. Responsibilities Pre-judgment tasks including conducting preliminary research on clients' financial state to assess eligibility and viability for bankruptcy as well as assisting in drafting and filing bankruptcy petitions, schedules and other necessary documents. Post-judgment tasks including managing post-judgment actions, preparing reaffirmation agreements and modifications. Qualifications 2+ years of Chapter 11 Bankruptcy experience in a law firm Ability to e-file with state and federal courts. Strong writing skills. Experience with iManage and/or eDockets is preferred. Paralegal certificate preferred. The firm is prepared to provide a comprehensive package with a base salary of $85,000-$105,000. the benefits package includes but is not limited to health insurance
