Job Description Job Description Position: Vi-Tel Inc is seeking experienced Structured Cable Technicians for multiple clients in and around Kansas City to assist with various applications of cabling, voice equipment, access controls, and CCTV equipment. Ideal candidates would possess the following: Candidates MUST have experience working with a variety of cabling, such as, Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, and coax. Single mode and multimode fiber optic experience is a plus. Your experience should include pulling cable, securing cables in raceways and trays, dressing cabling into racks, terminations on field end as well as rack end, testing and labeling. Experience with installing and setting of IDF/MDF racks/cabinets and adding patch panels is a plus as well.
