Job Description: Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures for crew members on board the cruise ship - Conduct regular health and safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company and industry standards - Provide training and education to crew members on topics such as hygiene, disease prevention, and emergency response - Monitor and assess the health status of crew members and provide appropriate medical care as needed - Collaborate with shipboard medical staff to ensure proper medical protocols and supplies are in place - Develop and maintain relationships with local health authorities and medical facilities in ports of call - Investigate and report any incidents or outbreaks of illness on board and implement measures to prevent further spread - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all crew members - Stay current on industry regulations and best practices related to public health and safety on board
