Champion safety procedures, processes and training to create and maintain a safety-first culture in the Transportation department. • Oversee and develop drivers and Transportation associates through one-on-one coaching, training on policy and procedures, assisting in problem resolution when required, and leading by example. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Ensure optimum delivery reliability to the customer by analyzing existing routes and driving improved efficiencies. • Initiate and support routing projects to reduce overall miles, increase on time, reduce goal distance, optimize depots and service territory, and cross-divisional transfers. • Drives and supports important routing metrics: On Time, Cases/Truck/Mile/Stop, Goal Distance. • Ensure routes are scheduled and sequenced in a timely, accurate and efficient manner. • Anticipates, analyzes and troubleshoots problems with routes and devises cost-effective and legal solutions; and acts to implement same. • Prepare and/or analyze various reports on a daily and/or weekly basis.Works closely with sales and warehouse departments to determine delivery feasibility. • Proactively review service and cost place improvement by identifying strategic depot locations. • Schedule and facilitate routing meetings with sales leadership team to review and alig
