Role The Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor will safely and effectively plan for and supervise skilled maintenance craftspeople in performing the maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment in the assigned area of responsibility. Incumbent is responsible to ensure quality and precision workmanship of the crew. Accountabilities Provide for the SAFE, effective, and timely completion of maintenance work by planning, scheduling, and supervising the manpower, materials, and equipment of maintenance, and by scheduling and supervising contract maintenance. Apply practical knowledge of the work, tools, materials, and equipment used by the crafts under the maintenance function in estimating, planning, scheduling the work and executing. Work closely with production, maintenance scheduler and other supervisors throughout the plant in making estimates, determining priorities, and scheduling the crafts.
