Job Description Job Description The purpose of the Laboratory (Lab) Technician role is to safely perform daily activities that support the chemical evaluation of incoming raw materials, intermediate process samples, and finished biodiesel and biodiesel by-products. The Lab Technician is responsible for laboratory-based tasks, which include sampling, testing, measuring, and recording and analyzing results. The Lab Technician is also responsible for general lab duties including, but not limited to preparing reagents, handling hazardous waste, instrument calibration, and statistical analysis of instrument performance.
