Description Summary: Responsible for the daily operation and supervision of personnel working in the Neurodiagnostic Lab and the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit. Performs all relevant duties of a Neurodiagnostic Technologist II or higher. POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Ultrasound Manager and Lead Ultrasound Technologist, the Ultrasound Technologist provides skill and initiative to the department's mission through interactions with staff, manager and others as necessary. Job Summary: The Sr Intraoperative Neuromonitoring Technologist (surgical neurophysiologist) performs all activities necessary for monitoring of complex intraoperative neurophysiological functions pertinent to the patients surgery. Under indirect supervision of the Director performs evoked potentials, mapping when the nervous system is at risk for injury. Trains and supervises staff technologists and entry level staff under the direction of the program director.
